Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport by IHG

Very spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. Where this hotel stands out is the friendliness of its staff. Super helpful and cheerful, helping with all questions. I would and will stay here when I am in Newport again.

This hotel is in an excellent location with great things in walking distance. Get the coffee across the street at the coffee drive through. Easy walk to the aquarium and Rogue spirits and brewery. Weird little.piratr village across the street but cool to visit with a zoo and a kangaroo.

This place is amazing. Came here for a one night stay. Check in was easy and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Staff is great. Got a room with 2 queen beds. Very clean very nice room. Mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, iron, safe, very nice bathroom with large showerhead. Went for a swim in the indoor pool and used the hot tub as well. I did not use them but really liked that they had equipment for differently able people to use as well. This is a very inclusive wonderful atmosphere. In the morning free breakfast provided was beyond expectations. Had a variety of bagels, muffins, etc. delicious warm cinnamon rolls. Eggs,sausage, potatoes, even biscuits and gravy. They have a machine that makes you pancakes at the press of a button! I enjoyed my stay so much I decided to extend and stay another night.

In town for work. It's just far enough away from HWY 101 that it's quiet. I prefer South Beach anyway. If you're coming to visit the coast, expect to drive places. There have been a few families showing up, but it's not tourist season on the Oregon coast right now.

Rooms are pretty clean and a decent breakfast. The Bay facing side of the hotel faces a business that likes to blast music all night. Fortunately the front desk personnel were quick to switch rooms. Could be an issue if the hotel was booked. It would have been a 1 star if it was the original room for the night.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great hot breakfast choices in a pristine facility. The location is great for visiting the aquarium.

After getting in stuck in Newport for a couple days due to unforseen circumstances on our road trip, the staff at the Holiday Inn were immediately making us feel at home. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly sweet, the room was clean and comfortable, and the extras such as the pool and gym were well kept (though the hot tub wasn't very warm). The hotel is also close to lots of neat places like the aquarium, science center, bayfront, and zoo so we had lots to keep us busy over the weekend. Overall we had a fantastic time and cannot thank the staff enough for being so thoughtful and accommodating as we got ourselves sorted out :)

Pleasantly surprised by the very nice spacious room with fridge and microwave, super friendly service, decent warm breakfast and indoor pool. Not much around here but there’s plenty of parking and an ice machine on every floor (thanks!). Unfortunately our TV did not work and the WiFi isn’t great. They tried to fix it though..
